About Me
As a child, I had a desire to explore and connect with things outside of what I knew. To my mom's distress, I always wandered away in search of the things that intrigued me. As I've grown older, nothing seems to have changed. In my work, I hope to continue the same ideas with the same curiosity. I want my work to bring people to an understanding of a subject in new ways.
My experience as a public safety reporter at a daily newspaper showed me the impacts local, community-based journalism can have. I aim to continue this ground-up approach to all of my work, focusing on the human stories at the heart of the environmental issues affecting our planet. Through continued education at the University of Montana, I gained essential knowledge on current science and research behind growing problems resulting from our changing climate and human intervention.
I feel a strong pull toward learning, connecting, and compiling information in a way that people find engaging and comprehensible. I am eager to continue this work. Let’s talk about how I can contribute to your team.
